Millfield School – University offers underway from across the globe

Upper Sixth pupils have returned to their penultimate term at school with offers and invitations to interview from many prestigious universities in the UK and abroad.

Reflecting the all-round education offer at Millfield, pupils have been recognised with both academic and sporting university offers including, to date, 13 unconditional offers to universities in the UK and abroad and 12 scholarships.

Two pupils have been offered places at University of Oxford this year. Amygrace Berger has been offered a place to read Chemistry at Brasenose College and Robert Brown has been offered a place to read Psychology and Philosophy at Worcester College. Caitlin Edgar has been offered a scholarship to Imperial College London to study Biomedical Engineering.

Internationally, 42 pupils applied to North American universities. To date, Nick Brookes has been offered a place at Northwestern University, Emma Cain will join University of California, Los Angeles, Joel Leon Benitez will take up his place at Virginia Tech and Luke Hammond will start at Oklahoma State University next autumn.
