Bromsgrove Prep School – Moseley Junior Champion

10 Mar 2017

2016 has been an incredible golfing year for 13 yr old Megan Langford. Megan, who attends Bromsgrove Prep School and plays at Blackwell and Moseley Golf Clubs, first picked up a golf club at the age of 5 and since then has gone from strength to strength, completing her Young Master’s Golf Course, achieving Distinction at every level.

Megan has been invited to attend the Hereford and Worcester County Golf Training

Academy and called to play for the County team. Since her County debut, Megan has remained undefeated.

Following her junior Open win in Bristol, Megan has now been crowned Moseley Junior Champion, capping off an incredible golfing year, since she is the first female recipient of the trophy which is somewhat fitting as Moseley Golf Club enters its 125th year.

As a young female golfer, Megan has received incredible support from everyone she has met in the game. She is both delighted and grateful to be coached by Tom Warbrick at Bromsgrove, as well as the Girls’ County coaching team headed by Russ Adams, based at Gaudet Luce. In addition to continuing her success, Megan’s target for 2017 is to become a single figure handicapper.

She is also yet to lose to her Dad in 2017!
