GCSE Results 2020 – King’s School Worcester

07 Jun 2021

King's School Worcester independent coeducational day school WorcestershireWe are pleased that our pupils have finally received their grades against a national backdrop of uncertainty around GCSE and A level grading. The school is reassured that the percentage of A* -C /9 – 4 results are comparable with previous years, demonstrating the hard work pupils have put in throughout the year. The grades received will enable all pupils to continue to the next part of their academic journey and  A level studies in September.

New foundation headmaster, Gareth Doodes, said, “I’m delighted that record numbers will be joining our Sixth Form this September. We look forward to an exciting start to the year and welcoming new and existing students back. Along with existing pupils, new pupils have already been enjoying a head start on their A levels having virtually joined King’s since the start of June, enabling them to make super headway in their post 16 studies. I’m personally immensely impressed with their commitment and dedication during this unsettling period. I wholeheartedly believe that these Fifth Form pupils will be stronger for it.”

As always, we are there for our pupils to support or assist with any queries they have during this period. Where needed, we encourage GCSE pupils to visit Firefly for more information on the support available.
