Grade 12 students support Save the Children #SavedWithStories campaign – TASIS England

14 Jul 2020

TASIS England students have been busy recording their favorite stories to share with other children during the Easter holidays and Corona Lockdown period as part of Save The Children #SavedWithStories campaign.

TASIS English teacher Ms.Wilkins and her 12 AP and IB English class students recently participated in the Save The Children #SavedWithStories campaign. This program raises money for 30 million children who do not receive food or school supplies when school is not in session during this time of self-isolation.

The TASIS Grade 12 students read their favorite children’s stories on video then recorded a short appeal for the campaign. The videos were then shared with the lower school for those primary school students to have as a resource during the two-week Easter break, and via Instagram for children to enjoy during the Corona lockdown period.

Ms. Wilkins explains, “It was wonderful to see the AP and IB students working together on this project. It is such a worthy cause and we are really pleased that we have played our part to contribute to helping children around the world.”
