IB results – Bromsgrove School

Congratulations to the sixty-nine students at Bromsgrove School who completed the IB Diploma in 2021 with an extraordinary average score of 40.1.

In this very difficult year, the School is delighted that 10% of the group achieved 44 or more points (the highest score available is 45).  Four students achieved the coveted 45 point maximum; Leonie Sackers, Jolene Koh, Lucia Goodwin and Nic Bamberger and a further three students scored 44 points. All Bromsgrove pupils scored above the world average and forty three students achieved 40 or more points. Overall the average score achieved by this cohort of students is 40.1 which is equivalent to better than 4 A*s at A Level using the old UCAS tariff.

The worldwide average score for IB is 30 points with the pass mark set at 25 points.
