Leehurst Swan School – Lucy Selected for England Junior Hockey Squad!

Congratulations to Lucy who, after trials last week, has been accepted into the U17 squad at the England Hockey Performance Centre in Southampton.

Lucy started playing hockey at primary school before joining Salisbury Hockey Club and, subsequently, playing for Wiltshire.

This is an outstanding achievement and everybody at Leehurst Swan is thrilled for Lucy and very proud of her.  Mrs Pearce, Head of PE, remarked that ‘Lucy is a great advert for trying hard and always giving everything.’
