Powerful Poppy Display to Commemorate Remembrance Day

Honouring the memory of fallen heroes.

Pupils and staff at The Beacon School in Amersham worked hard to collectively create over 3,000 individual poppies for a striking display that has been draped outside the school over the front of the main School House building.

Poppy Display at The Beacon School Buckinghamshire The creative vision was initiated by Miss Michelle Jackson, Head of Art at The Beacon, as a symbol to commemorate Remembrance Day in honour of the Armed Forces and their families.

The Poppy Display can be seen by the public driving past the Amersham Road and looks stunning when lit up in the evening.

A QR code is sited next to the display for donations to the Royal British Legion ‘Poppy Appeal’.
