Royal Courts of Justice Trip

On Friday 28th February, Year 5 and 6 visited the Royal Courts of Justice to participate in a mock trial.
The pupils had the opportunity to explore the roles in a courtroom, prepare and enact a trial based on a real contemporary case and discuss and debate real sentencing options.
They even learned more about the justice system and consequences of breaking the law, which encouraged them to use their rights and responsibilities to be become more active, law-abiding citizens!
