In English Literature, 12 candidates achieved a level 9 (31% of all entries). In History, 20% of entries were at grade 9 with 29% of entries at the same level in Religious Studies. 23% of candidates in Art and 25% in Photography also attained the coveted grade 9.

I am especially proud of how well our pupils and staff coped with the challenging transition from the old GCSE syllabus to the new system. This completes a fabulous year for Christ College Brecon with five ‘Excellents’ in our November Estyn Inspection, 20% A*’s in our A-level results and now 31% 8/9 in our GCSE results.
