Welcome to the Phillips Family – King’s Hawford

10 Jun 2021

We are delighted to welcome the Phillips family to King’s Hawford as Mrs Jennie Phillips takes up her role as our new Head.

Jennie has relocated to Worcester from Monmouth with husband Eddie and daughters Amelia and Daisy, who are looking forward to joining King’s Senior. Like all of our Heads within the Foundation, Jennie and her family will live on site at Hawford so she can fully immerse herself into school life.

Much to the excitement of everyone here at Hawford, the Phillips family recently expanded to include Niko the puppy! Niko is settling in very well as he finds his place amongst the other pets in the family, which include two cats and two tortoises.

Our New Head

After taking the time to settle into their new home during the Easter holidays, Jennie is now looking forward to the start of a new term and officially taking over from Mr Turner. Jennie and Jim spent a great deal of time working together during the Spring Term prior to Jim’s retirement to ensure a smooth and thorough transition.

As a keen swimmer and a lover of the great outdoors, Jennie is looking forward to exploring the beautiful Worcestershire countryside with her family. Find out more about Jennie and her interests by tuning into a special edition of KH Radio. You can also follow her on Twitter.

On behalf of the Phillips family I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks for the warmth of the welcome that has been extended to us since arriving here at Hawford. We are so excited about this new stage in our lives and very much look forward to getting to know everyone and exploring our beautiful new surroundings.   JENNIE PHILLIPS, HEAD
