Northwood College celebrates its best ever GCSEs results!

This year’s GCSE results are the best ever with 44% of all grades awarded the highest score – A*. Overall, 75% of all grades awarded were A*/A and 93% were graded A*- B. Twenty-three girls achieved ten or more A* and A grades. Notable achievers include Anna Higgins, from Pinner, who achieved an exceptional 11 A*s and Emily Dawes (originally from Northwood, now living in the USA), Roween Rawat, from Pinner, and Ridhaa Remtulla, from Northwood, who each achieved 10 A*s and one A.

Jacqualyn Pain, Head Mistress commented: “I am delighted with this year’s GCSE results, which are our best ever, with over 25% of girls achieving 10 or more A*/As and over 43% achieving nine or more A*/As. I would like to congratulate the girls and staff for all their hard work. Our results show that our ground-breaking approach to Thinking Skills, coupled with traditional academic rigour, leads to our girls achieving top exam grades.”
