A Visitor from Ancient Greece at The Manor Prep School

Year 5 were lucky enough to have a visit from Apollodora, the storyteller, who came all the way from Ancient Greece to visit us at The Manor on Thursday afternoon.

Whilst our chiton-clad bodies certainly felt the November chill, in our minds we were living the life of a Greek. The girls had a great time learning about everyday life and listening to stories of monsters and heroes. The afternoon was topped off by acting out mythical scenes and there were some fantastic performances of Medusa, Perseus and the Grey Sisters.
