Annual Lecture for Bromsgrove School Foundation

Bromsgrove School associates past and present assembled for a celebration of the School at the Fourth Annual Foundation Lecture.

The event took place on Tuesday 20th November at the RAF Club in Piccadilly, London. Over a hundred guests attended, including Old Bromsgrovians, current parents, staff, School governors and Foundation Trustees.

The guest speaker was Air Marshal Stephen Hillier CBE DFC, who is a parent at Bromsgrove and currently serving as Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff (Capability). He spoke about his life and career in the Royal Air Force, including his experiences in the Gulf in 1999 where he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions, and his service in the Iraq War for which he gained the US Bronze Star Medal.

Air Marshal Hillier was joined by Bromsgrove School Headmaster Chris Edwards along with a number of noted Old Bromsgrovians, including Foundation Trustee Sir David Arculus, Chairman of the Foundation Richard Noake and Chairman of Governors Stewart Towe CBE.

The Foundation exists to raise funds for bursaries and scholarships at Bromsgrove School.
