11 Apr 2017
On Friday 10th March, Bromsgrove Preparatory School’s leading U11 boy and girl swimmers were in action at the West Midlands Division 6 regional round of the ESSA Primary School Relays at Warwick School.
Bromsgrove’s boys’ team, comprising of captain Ben Collett, Oliver Holden, Bobby Riley and William Pridden swam superbly to qualify in second place in both the 4 x25 metres medley and freestyle relays. This is a great achievement and many congratulations to the boys on qualifying for the prestigious ESSA National Finals at Ponds Forge International Centre on Saturday 17th June.
The girls’ team, comprising of Honey Bo-Luscombe, Lucy Cattell, Isabelle Kavanagh, Katherine Sutherland, Libby Rolph and Emma Dunaker also performed very well and finished in fourth position in both relays, agonisingly missing out on qualification by just one place.
