Bushcraft Week at Belmont School
20 Aug 2013
Boarders at Belmont Preparatory School near Dorking in Surrey, enjoyed a return to the wild in July, making the most of the 65 acres of woodland in the school grounds.
Activities included shelter building, low ropes fun, orienteering and woodland games. The week culminated in a demonstration of how to make a campfire using the bow and drill method and all enjoyed some delicious toasted marshmallows to celebrate the end of a hugely enjoyable week.
