Charities Week at Bromsgrove
11 Apr 2017
Kind hearted pupils at Bromsgrove Prep School have spent a wonderful week both organising and participating in various activities and challenges to raise as much money as possible for charity.
Early in the term, the Year 8 Charities Committee after much consideration presented a shortlist of charities to the rest of the school, who then voted for the British Heart Foundation and Primrose Hospice.
Amongst the activities that took place, ‘splat the teacher’ was a popular choice, with pupils having the opportunity to soak their favourites with soggy sponges! Pupils have also been running ‘hook a duck’ and various tombolas. The bake sales attracted bakers and hungry crowds alike.
The final total raised an amazing £4,500 which will be shared between Primrose Hospice and the British Heart Foundation.
