CORNWALL ADVENTURE A HIT WITH BISHOP’S STORTFORD COLLEGE PUPILS

“It was the best trip yet and I would love to go again,” declared Annie McGloin, one of the sixty-nine pupils from Bishop’s Stortford College Junior School who spent part of their half-term in Cornwall.

Staying at The Manor House in St. Issy, near Padstow, the Form Two (year 6) children enjoyed kayaking, surfing, climbing, orienteering, cycling, walking a coastal path and a trip to The Eden Project during an action packed five-day trip.

Katie Hilton loved the climbing because “it was on real sea cliffs not just a climbing wall”. It was Harry Belton’s favourite activity as well. “I was scared of heights and this activity helped me to overcome my fear,” he said.

Joshua Miles enjoyed the opportunity to make new friends, whilst Max Bevington commented, “It’s a great chance to try out new things and it helps to build your confidence.”
