Corpus Christi Science prize for Malvern College pupil

Gerald Roseman, a pupil at Malvern College, has been awarded Joint First Prize in the very first Biomedical Sciences category essay prize at Corpus Christi College, Oxford. Submissions were invited in three categories, Experimental Psychology, Materials Science and for the first time this year, in Biomedical Sciences. Essays were judged by Fellow in Biomedical Sciences, Dr Pawel Swietach and those that scored highest addressed the relevance of measuring light, radioactive decay, magnetic spin and electric current in a biomedical context, explaining how these have accelerated research. Gerald Roseman said “To have been awarded this prize in the very first Biomedical Sciences category is a great honour”.
