Developments at The Beacon School
04 Oct 2024
During the 2024 Summer break, The Beacon School has had a series of transformative developments, enhancing their facilities in preparation to welcome back The Beacon Community. Among the most significant of improvements is a brand-new play area for the Nursery and Reception boys set within the safe and inspiring Early Year’s environment. This features new flooring, vibrant flower plantings and most importantly, some brand-new exciting and stimulating play equipment and apparatus for the boys to enjoy.
Complementing this outdoor upgrade is the newly refurbished Cooking and Nutrition classroom; a dynamic and interactive space designed to facilitate hands-on learning experiences. This refurbished area aims to promote healthy eating habits and culinary skills among the boys. Support for these enhancements has been provided from the generous donations that the Beacon Parents’ Society have initiated as well as fundraising from The Beacon to Paris Peloton.
Additionally, the installation of new pathways has improved accessibility, ensuring that everyone can easily navigate the school.
Solar panels have also been installed, reducing our carbon footprint at The Beacon. General maintenance efforts, including paint work, have further revitalised the space, ensuring that The Beacon remains a welcoming and engaging place for all of the community.
These developments showcase The Beacon’s commitment to fostering a nurturing and sustainable community environment
