ELEVEN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UPTON HOUSE LEAVERS

04 Oct 2013

Upton House has had the best results on record for entry to secondary schools. Seven of the sixteen girls leaving in Form 6 have won scholarships, and two of them have won three! Other girls have won places at the Lady Eleanor Holles School (one of the top academic schools in the country) The Abbey in Reading, Downe House, Sir William Perkin’s (SWPS) and St George’s Ascot to name a few.

Upton House, in the heart of Windsor, is a non selective independent day school. It was founded nearly 80 years ago and prides itself on educating children from very different international backgrounds. The children are known for their confidence and caring attitudes and play a large part in the local community raising money for local charities, paying weekly visits to the elderly, worshipping in the parish church and taking part in Windsor events.

Mrs Madeleine Collins, Headmistress could not be more pleased with the results coming in. “We have an unprecedented number of scholars leaving us this summer. Most of these pupils have been with us since Nursery and have done us proud!”
