FARLINGTON BELLES PERFORM AT BROADWOOD DAY OF DANCE

12 Jun 2013

The Farlington Belles took to the streets of Horsham Town Centre for the Broadwood Day of Dance on Saturday 11th May. 15 girls from Years 4, 5 and 6 at Farlington School, just outside Horsham, were the only children performing at the event.

The Day was attended by 34 other ‘sides’ and organised by the Broadwood Morris Men. The girls performed four dances in their two half-hour slots in the Cotswold Style with sticks and hankies. They also danced Roundhill and Bandstand dances. All the girls enjoyed the day thoroughly and were supported by parents and staff who joined in the afternoon barn dance at the Carfax. John and Anne Bacon provided musical accompaniment.
