FARLINGTON SCHOOL ANNOUNCES NEW HEAD

The Governors of Farlington School are delighted to announce, after a rigorous selection process, the appointment of a new Headmistress, Louise Higson, from 1st December 2012.

Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Mike Simpkin OBE said:
‘We are very proud to be able to appoint such a strong Head to lead the School.’

Louise Higson, a Mathematics graduate from Manchester University, joined Farlington School in 2005 as Head of the Upper School, and was Deputy Head from 2009. She has been the interim Headmistress of Farlington since June 2012. Prior to joining Farlington, Louise was Head of Year at Croydon High School for Girls, Examinations Officer and teacher of Mathematics at Sir James Henderson British School of Milan and taught Mathematics at Calday Grange Grammar School in West Kirby (Wirral).
