Flowers for Natasha Tait of Staines Prep

04 Apr 2013

Natasha Tait, the Admissions Manager at Staines Prep, received a surprise bouquet of flowers this week as a ‘thank you’ for her skills and professionalism.

Natasha joined the school five years ago as the new registrar and marketing coordinator, handling admissions and running open days. As one of the first points of contact her role is vital in maintaining the high standards set by the school.

Trainers from RSAdmissions, a Hampshire-based admissions and marketing organisation who work with Independent Schools, had monitored Natasha’s telephone manner as an example of how a good customer-friendly call should be handled.

Jan Evans of RSAdmissions said: “We run the Certificate in Admissions Management Course on behalf of our professional association, AMDIS, the Association for Marketing and Development in Independent Schools. Delegates from prep and senior schools attend from all over the country. As part of the course we discuss best practice in telephone enquiry handling.

Natasha had attended a previous course so we asked her if she would mind being a ‘victim’ of our mystery shop. Of course she handled the call exactly as we would have expected and the flowers were just to say ‘thank you’. Staines Prep is justly proud of the care it takes with all its parents, prospective parents and pupils.”
