Fun On The Ski Slopes For Howell’s College Students

16 Jan 2019

Thirty-nine Year 13 students from Howell’s headed for the ski slopes in Switzerland during the Christmas holidays. The weather was definitely on our side, and we had fantastic alpine views of the area around Gstaad. There was a fun-packed programme, including swimming, bowling, ice-skating, movie night, bonfire and sing songs. Skiers of all abilities were catered for, making excellent progress and even our beginners were paralleling like pros by the end of the week. On our last day all the groups joined together at lunch for a traditional meal of cheese fondue and rösti in a rustic mountain hut. The students had a fantastic time and it was a pleasure to accompany them.
