Helping the Hedgehogs at Bromsgrove School
22 Jan 2013
Pupils from Bromsgrove Pre-Preparatory and Nursery School have had a very exciting “Hedgehog Week”.
After reading and then writing stories about hedgehogs, pupils from Year 1 made hedgehog bread, which they then sold to their classmates to raise money for hedgehog rescue charity, the Willows Hedgehog Rescue in Bromsgrove. The School welcomed a representative of the charity who gave a very interesting talk about their work with hedgehogs. The children then set up a hedgehog house in Forest School and rounded off their fantastic week by making clay hedgehogs as souvenirs. Many thanks go to Mr Murphy for constructing and donating the excellent hedgehog house.
