Homefield Star Through to Open Mic UK Semi-Finals

17 Nov 2016

Homefield could not be prouder of its pupil, Anush, who has qualified for the semi-finals of the Open Mic UK 2016 competition after finishing in the top five of the London Regional Finals in the U16 category.

This achievement is made all the more impressive by the sheer volume of competition Anush faced. Open Mic UK is a national music competition, which has over 10,000 entries every year. Auditions began in August and the competition seeks to find the UK’s best singers, singer/songwriters, rappers and vocal groups.

Anush has received superb support from his classmates and teachers at Homefield and no doubt that will continue as he prepares to give his all in the semi-finals.
