Slindon College is a centre of excellence for moderate learning difficulties. The College adopts a holistic approach to learning support so that class teachers and specialist staff work together for the benefit of pupils who require individual support. We support a wide range of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) including Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Slindon College is categorised as a Learning Support Centre (LSC) with CReSTeD (Council for the Registration of Schools Teaching Dyslexics) accreditation.
We teach around 75 to 90 boys in small, individualised classes that are highly bespoke to meet each pupils’ needs. Our 1:5 teacher to pupil ratio, with Learning Support Assistants in most classes, means students are given the individual attention and support they require.
Slindon College facilities include a Design Centre, horticulture department, Food technology room, IT suite, Science labs, heated outdoor swimming pool, floodlit hardcourt, extensive playing fields, fitness room and small farmyard with woodland area and Forest School.
Some bursaries are available.
Following an informal chat with our Admissions Officer to assess suitability we will request copies of reports and references from the applicants’ current school. Upon review of the information we may offer pupils and parents a tour of the College where they can meet the Headmaster and Lead SENCo. The College is nonselective and prospective pupils can apply throughout the year.
