Music for Life for Homefield Twins
06 Jun 2017
A pair of budding Homefield musical talents. Twins Oliver and Sam in 4H performed at the Royal Albert Hall for the Merton Music Foundation’s ‘Music is for Life’ concert.
Merton Music Foundation (MMF) is a Registered Charity established in March 1991. Its charitable aim is: “To advance music education within a framework of the arts for the benefit of the public of the London Borough of Merton and elsewhere.” MMF provides high quality music education for children in the London Borough of Merton. One of the Charity’s key priorities is to support schools in the provision of an enriched music entitlement for all pupils.
Oliver and Sam got the full Royal Albert Hall experience as they not only played trumpet with the wonderful orchestra but sang with the choir. The performance was a testament to the boys’ hard work as they have been rehearsing for the concert since the start of the year.
A big well done from everyone at Homefield to both boys on their excellent achievement.
