SIBFORD SCHOOL – PUPILS COUNT DOWN TO CHRISTMAS WITH A GOOD DEED A DAY

16 Dec 2015

Young pupils at Sibford School near Banbury are committing themselves to do a good deed a day in the run up to Christmas.

Pupils in the Junior School, which teaches children from the age of three through to 11, were all given a Good Deeds Advent Calendar and encouraged to help as many people as possible as they counted down to the big day.

Edward Rossiter, assistant head in charge of Sibford Junior School said: “As we prepare for Christmas we are encouraging the children to think of others.

“We want them to do a good deed every day from 1st December through to Christmas Eve and to write it down in the box provided. After Christmas we will be asking the children to bring their calendars back into school so that we can see just how many different good deeds have been done.”
