A Wellington School pupil has achieved an extraordinary accolade and rubbed shoulders with Royalty.
Jack Brodie, who is in Year 10, participated in the Outward Bound course last summer and was awarded his certificate by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco at the famous Monaco Yacht Club.
This is his third term at the school, prior to that he lived in South of France and Jack attended the International School of Monaco where he joined Outward Bound.
He was the first participant in Outward Bound Monaco’s history to receive a scholarship to return to the Skills For Life course next summer.
Jack moved to the South of France from Wellington with his family four years ago where his parents had started an English language news service for Monaco and Jack had the opportunity to join Outward Bound Monaco.
A year ago the family moved back to Somerset and Jack started at Wellington School.
