10 Mar 2017
On Thursday, Year 5 pupils from Winterfold House School, Chaddesley Corbett performed monologues from different literary characters and inspiring figures from the past. The children researched their chosen person and wrote a short monologue in the first person, explaining their story.
Mrs Sarah Miles, Head of English and Drama said “All of the children showed pure bravery and performed with charisma and enthusiasm. Oliver Sirett’s confident Robin Hood, Isla Chattin’s charming Julie Andrews, Louis Malanaphy’s daring Danny (from Danny the Champion of the World) and Annabelle Kenny’s cheeky Violet Beauregarde deserve special mention. Well done to all who took part!”
