    St Edmund’s College & Prep School

    St Edmund’s College offers an all-round co-education for students from age 3 to 18, and for families from all faiths. The school aims to develop confident, caring, well-grounded students who are well prepared to go on to the next stage of their lives and to really make a difference to the world they live in.

    Academic excellence is a principle focus at St Edmund’s College. Achievement of personal best is supported through your child’s educational journey by small class sizes, talented teaching staff who provide a high degree of individual attention and a strong pastoral tradition. It is all set in a safe, fully established co-educational environment.

    St Edmund’s College offers both full-time and flexi boarding, alongside a School Bus Service covering a very wide area throughout Hertfordshire, Essex and North London for Years 3-13. The College does not offer exeat weekends, but does offer transport links to London Heathrow, London Stansted and London Luton when students arrive at and depart from the College at the start and end of terms.

    Facilities

    St Edmund’s College offers top class and diverse facilities, including: Music School with Music Recording Studio, IT suites, Science Centre, Art and Technology workshops, Floodlit All-Weather Pitch, Indoor Swimming Pool, Indoor Gym, Sports Hall, Tennis Courts and Multi-Use Games Area.

    The students at St Edmund’s College are supported by an excellent pastoral system that monitors and supports each student’s progress in all areas of the College. Each student is allocated into one of five houses, where they are supported by a House Master or House Mistress and a team of Tutors, alongside the College Chaplaincy. Students’ mental and physical wellbeing is also cared for by the on-site Infirmary, offering 24/7 care for all aspects of a student’s health.

    The school provides a wide-ranging offering of extracurricular activities for students each weekday afternoon, including clubs, drama, CCF, music and sport. Outside of term-time, the College hosts a Summer School, offering a blend of educational rigour with diverse opportunities for fun, relaxation and leisure

    Weekly Boarding (from Year 7): £8,549 – £10,495 per term, Full Boarding: £10,255 – £12,821 per term.
